Item #167  Melting Bulk Beeswax If using a double boiler, fill an inch or two of water in the bottom boiler and place wax in the top boiler. Melt over medium/low to medium setting. The lower the setting, the less the wax will be affected or altered by the heat. If using a slow cooker, set to low/medium heat and place wax into the bottom of the slow cooker. The lower the setting, the less the wax will be affected or altered by the heat. The melting point of beeswax is approximately 145 degrees F
