For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Mint Condition Circa 1975 Sheaffer White Dot Sovereign Imperial Fountain Pen & Pencil Pen with 14K Gold Filled Diamond Grid pattern. The fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned, put back together, and is now in wonderful writing condition. These writing instruments are known as a 14K Gold Filled Sheaffer Sovereign Imperial Fountain Pen and Pencil. The clips have the perfect White-dot set into the clip. The Fountain Pen has seen very light use and displays in mint condition. The cap and barrel are perfect with no scratches or repairs. The fountain pen has an ink converter filling unit and works as it was designed to - I tested it with water and works perfectly. The Pencil is twist activated by twisting the barrel. The cap lips are marked with, 14K G.F. CASING SHEAFFER CROWN LOGO SHEAFFER U.S.A.. The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no dings, dents, cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. This fountain pen measures 5 1/4 capped and 5 3/4 posted. The Pencil measures 5 1/8 in length. The nib is marked Sheaffer 14K U.S.A. The nib has a medium point measuring .71mm when using digital calipers. When creating a writing sample, the NIB writes with a fine to medium stroke/line measuring between .55mm to .65mm when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Montblanc Blue Ink. This is a Gorgeous set to acquire because it has seen very little use the condition of the set is top-notch. I would consider this Sheaffer set to grade in Mint Condition condition. This Sheaffer Sovereign Imperial Set is ready to write or just add to your writing arsenal collection.
