This 3/8"" short handle version has a little less length than a standard bowl gouge to help improve control. Made from M2 High Speed Steel (HSS) and hardened to Rockwell 62-64, thus giving it excellent edge holding ability. Tool is approximately 15"" long overall with an 8-1/2"" stained beech handle.
