8 transparent aglets. Perfect for making your own shoelaces or mending ones you already own! Super easy to use. Simply place over the end of your ribbon or shoelace and apply heat! I find hair straighteners work best, you only have to clamp down on your aglet for about 5 seconds and it will have shrunk to size, the aglets won't melt so you don't need to worry about wrecking your straighteners. If you don't have straighteners hair dryers, freshly boiled water, or (very carefully) a lighter will also work. Check out the video for a very brief how to! They are 5mm in diameter unshrunk and about 20mm in length each. The aglets will shrink to at least half their original size (2.5mm) and can usually be persuaded to go a bit smaller if needed. Length may vary very slightly between aglets as they are all cut by hand! The last 2 photos on the listing are just to show the results you can expect, the shoelaces are not included. I also have coloured aglets available in black, blue, yellow, green and red if you check my shop.
