These spindles are great for plying and spinning sport, worsted, aran or bulky weight yarn. These hand-turned, top whorl drop spindles are perfect for spinning on the go! Each spindle is unique and hand crafted with extreme care and attention to detail. This drop spindle features a maple whorl and shaft. The whorl is notched to securely hold your handspun yarn over the whorl. All wooden surfaces are sanded silky smooth and finished with a beeswax and orange oil wood finishing product and a final coat of pure beeswax. The metal hook is hand bent and is glued securely in place. This spindle can last a lifetime!
