You can customize Gorilla Coat to your liking. Whether you prefer a high-gloss finish or satin finish, you can apply Gorilla Coat in a single coat for a satin finish or use a second coat 30 minutes after the initial coat for a high-gloss finish. How to Use: The most important step to applying Gorilla Coat is the prep work. WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTION, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE OUR GORILLA PREP BEFORE USING GORILLA COAT. Using Gorilla Prep will ensure the surface is prepared correctly and no remaining solution is left on the tire before applying the coating. Gorilla Prep will turn white, allowing users to see perfectly clean the tire before the application process. Depending on the tire condition and previous solutions used, you might have to clean the tire numerous times before all old silicones and other residues are removed before applying the Gorilla Coat. After the tire is cleaned with Gorilla Prep and dried thoroughly, apply Gorilla Coat by spraying it directly onto the tire, tire dressing applicator, or brush. Depending on the type of tire you have, a brush might be easier for knobby off-road tires, while directly spraying on the tire might be easier for standard tires. Work coating onto the tire, ensuring a thin and even coat is applied. Make sure no excess product is pooling on the surface of the tire before the drying process begins. For a higher-gloss finish, apply a second coat of Gorilla Coat approximately 30 minutes after the initial coat. Car Detailing Tech Tip: Easily clean Gorilla Coat with water or light APC upon future washing. The cleaning method you choose will depend on what type of vehicle you apply Gorilla Coat on. Off-Road vehicles might require light APC use, while conventional road-driven vehicles will require light scrubbing during your normal vehicle wash process.
