Superior Millboard is made from 100% recycled material — a mix of archival-quality paper and CXD Premier Archival Folding Boxboard waste (comprised of chemically purified, 100% wood-free, O.B.A.-free, long-fiber kraft that is buffered with calcium carbonate). With an Elephant Green color that is both light-resistant and bleedproof, Superior Millboard passes the Photographic Activity Test (PAT) developed by the Image Permanence Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology, which remains the ANSI and ISO standard for archival storage and display.
