The Dupli-Color Paint Shop Finishing System Gray Primer is a high-quality paint job finish system that gives you everything you need for a perfect DIY finish. The primer is very easy to apply and dries quickly. It can also be buffed to a brilliant smooth finish. It is a ready-to-spray system, so there is no need for mixing or reducing. Since there is no recoat window, additional coats can be applied anytime. The Dupli-Color Paint Shop Finishing System Gray Primer has been designed for motorcycle and automotive applications. Its quick drying quality ensures reduced drying and curing time. It is dry to the touch in 30 minutes and has a shelf life of two years. To use this product, first wash and prepare the surface thoroughly with a mild, ammonia-based cleaner and warm water. Rinse well and dry with a clean cloth. Then prime the surface with the Paint Shop Gray Primer. Apply 2 to 3 coats with 15 to 20 minutes dry time between coats. If sanding is required, allow 2 to 3 hours dry time before sanding with 1000 grit wet or dry sandpaper. Then apply the color, the mid coat clear and clear coat. Finally, buff and polish the surface.
