This Whiteside Precision 3/8 Template Guide Bushing is machined to an exact Outer Diameter (OD) of 3/8 to allow precise centering of a bit inside jigs and templates. Many standard template guide bushings are stamped and lack the overall precision of a machined bushing. In some cases, even some machined bushings may have an OD that is inaccurate. Another problem is that some bushings can be installed such that your router bit is off-center within the bushing.
