All yarn skeins are one of a kind even though they are dyed according to the same recipe and in the same dye bath. This is what makes hand-dyed yarns so unique just like you are.
For dyeing, I have used professional fiber reactive dye that binds to the material so that the dye and the yarn become one. This makes the color extremely colorfast and fade-resistant.
I have rinsed each skein thoroughly by hand, but despite that, a little bleeding can occur at the first wash, as it is with all hand-dyed yarn.
