The main fabric is a lovely highly popular and nowadays quite rare! , knitting sheep print cotton on a bright red base and I have paired it with a black with white polka dot heavyweight cotton. The bag is lined with natural coloured cotton fabric. Inside the whole circumference are pockets in varying widths, a total of 5, 2 being perfect for needles up to approximately 28cm (11) in length, the others for notions, patterns etc. There is also a lobster clasp on webbing perfect for holding stitch markers or maybe keys. On the top are 2 strong cotton webbing handles for carrying and it closes with 2 plaited cotton drawstring that simply close by pulling on each side. The whole bag is Interfaced which gives it structure along with the deep boxed base. I have demonstrated the bag filled (different print bag, but identical set up) I have approximately 500g of yarn plus my project and there is still plenty of space. This reversible drawstring bag, just the right size for a medium sized yarn cake is perfect for keeping your yarn and tools within easy reach. It has a drawstring closure which doubles up as handles. The bag is approximately 22.5cm (8.5 inches) tall and the diameter of the base is 15cm (6inches). There are two pocket sections (one on each side). One section is divided into 3 pockets each approximately 7cm (2.5 inches) wide for keeping essential tools to hand. The other has seven pockets between 2cm and 3cm (34 inch to 1 inch) wide, perfectly sized for holding a number of hooks or needles of varying sizes. A small piece of rope elastic is attached between the two pockets for keeping those stitch markers handy! The bag is made using purple spray time 100% cotton fabric and 100% cotton with vintage clocks on a cream background. The pockets and upper drawstring sections of the bag have been interfaced. The main body of the bag is padded using fusible fleece. I made the bag reversible so that the pockets can be either on the inside or outside of the bag depending on your preference. It can be washed at either 30 or 40 degrees. Do not tumble dry.

To get you started I have made some row counters and you could also detach the special little charm I made for the zip. I have demonstrated the bag filled using an alternative print bag, I have approximately 500g of wool yarn plus my project and there is still plenty of space. Full dimensions are given below. My biggest bag yet, this is huge! I have 1000g of pure wool yarn, my project and all my tools and still theres more room! ( shown in an alternative print, but identical set up bag) This is a very good sized drawstring bag perfect for knitting or crochet or just any use! The main fabric is a lovely spoonflower realistic multi breed cat print along with flowers on a light turquoise base ( the pattern placement may vary ) and I have paired it with a turquoise with white tiny stars heavier weight cotton. Inside the bag is lined with a natural cotton and around the whole circumference are pockets in varying widths, a total of 5, 2 being perfect for needles up to approximately 30.5cm (12) in length, longer if you allow them to poke out of the top! The others work well for notions, patterns etc. There is also a lobster clasp on webbing perfect for holding stitch markers or maybe keys. This bag is made with a print called "Bees' by artist Sarah Watts. I use an Essex metallic linen in a copper colour for the bottom, which is shot through with gold metallic threads. I then add a layer of interfacing to the whole, before adding a layer of fleece for a soft squishiness. The bag is lined with the same Essex Linen and the slip pockets and zip pocket with a pink coloured coordinating cotton. The bag has 2 sets of slip pockets for tips. One is 2.5" / 6.25cm tall and the other is 3.5" / 9cm - perfect for both short and longer tips. Each pocket has 11 slots - 5 for the slimmer tips, 5 for the fatter ones and, finally, a larger slot that you can use for your really chubby tips, or maybe for other notions or tools you like to keep together with your tips. Above the shorter pocket, there's also a generously sized zip pocket, perfect for keys, connectors and end caps to be tucked away safely. You can see the dimensions of the bag in last photo. My roll of DPNs measures 8.5" / 22cm in length and the same in circumference, which will give you a good idea of whether yours will fit into the bag as well as your interchangeables. Please note that the height of the bag allows for storage of standard length tips of 5". If your tips are longer, please send me a custom request and I'll make a taller bag for you.
The bag is made with a beautiful cotton print called 'Bees', which was originally part of the Magic Forest collection by Sarah Watts for Cotton and Steel. I partner it with a metallic copper and gold Essex Linen, which is super sparkly. The lining is a pink cotton that coordinates with the pink bees in the print. The bag is a perfect size for a smaller project - certainly large enough for a one skein shawl but compact and squishy enough to take with you in a larger bag when you're on the go. You can see the dimensions of the bag in the last photograph and I've included a pair of standard size straight needles in the photos to give you a practical feel of the size. The corners of the bag are folded to create pretty triangle shapes that flatten the bottom of the bag and help it stand on it's own so you can work out of it. I also add a yarn guide in the lining made with the Essex Linen, which opens with a metal press stud. The drawstrings are a lovely soft cotton woven cord in a matching pink shade, and I seal the ends by adding some matching fabric tape, for a tidy finish. All the fabrics are interfaced with woven cotton for strength and to help resist creasing a little, and I add a layer of fleece for a little more body and padding. Please note that the fabric placement in the photographs is of one sample bag, and your bag could look slightly different, depending on how the fabric is cut.

This Selkirk Sling Knitting / Crochet Project Bag is made from our Yarn Ball and Plain Knit fabrics and is quilted. The project/knitting bag has been made using navy coloured fabric. I have hand appliquéd a dog (Geoff) onto the bag along with a hand embroidered fern. The outer has been quilted to add structure. The lining and handles are made using my own complimentary prints. The handles are made in my camel coloured Aztec print and lined in my green dog print. The bag is suitable for small craft projects such as sock knitting - it is bucket shaped so you can find things easily. The depth of the bag is 15cms (6 inches) and the base is 9cms square (3.5 inches square).
