An advanced and challenging program (ages 11 - 13, by INVITATION ONLY) that enables students to create a 2 - 3 piece clothing collection through market research, branding, story telling, fashion illustration, presentation board, draping, cutting and sewing. Students will showcase their collection at the next Annual Fashion Show in May. Start Time: September 2020 End Time: May 2020 Location: Marlboro & Little Silver, NJ SCHEDULE: Sept - textile design, fashion illustration, Presentation story board - Photoshop Nov - learning how to drape a basic bodice/skirt, draping their 1st design Jan - May - Make 2nd - 3rd design through pattern making and sewing *NOTE: This program is ONLY open to those who have completed 1 or more years of Fashion Runway or Draping and Fashion Design Kids and who are ready for the NEXT LEVEL. This class is open by INVITATION ONLY! Each 8 week session is sold SEPARATELY! Also, every 8 week session comes with 1 extra day of "OPEN STUDIO TIME" which allows students extra time to work on their projects. The 1 extra day of "OPEN STUDIO TIME" MUST be completed by the end of each 8 week session and CANNOT BE COMBINED or passed onto another session. Once a student has been selected, they MUST REGISTER during that week in order to be considered for the program. Seats CANNOT BE HELD FOR MORE THAN 1 WEEK. *PLEASE NOTE: Students MUST have their own sewing machines, bobbins, threads, silk pins (1 1/4”), pin cushion, Apple computer, own gmail account (on their computer) and Adobe Photoshop account for first 8 weeks. Students MUST download adobe Creative Cloud and Photoshop BEFORE attending 1st class in September.
