 DTF (Direct to Film printing) is an alternative printing method to DTG (Direct to Garment printing). DTF uses a specific type of water-based ink to print on a clear film transfer that is then dried, either manually, or by the printer itself. A special adhesive powder is then applied to the back and then heat cured/melted using Boss Chicks special oven unit it is ready for storage or instant pressing. 

***Would I still need a heat press? YES. You will still need a heat press in order to press your design after curing

Boss Chicks recommends pressing at 320F for 20 seconds while using a teflon sheet to over the design to protect the top platen of your heat press, letting the transfer cool all the way down, for COLD PEEL 🥶, and re-pressing at the same temperature for 10 seconds.
