Brilliant metallic colour in a versatile paint! Roberson Liquid Metals are creamy acrylic colours that can be used on most surfaces including plaster, wood, paper & canvas. The rich, deep colour gives the appearance of metal but it will not tarnish and is not required to be varnished. The 24 colour range includes 13 shades of gold, brass and bronze; eight shades of silver, pewter and platinum; a steel, a graphite and an interference, glittery colour (called Twinkle). All colours are intermixable with each other and other acrylic paints. When mixed they add both their colour and their sparkle to other acrylic paints. The colours are all transparent but in thicker applications they can cover quite well. The paints can be thinned with water and as the paint becomes more transparent the metallic shimmer is still visible. Clean up is with soap and water. If you intend to paint large things, the pots list the paint’s coverage as: 7 square metres per litre.
