Upon finding out of the fate of the fallen tree we purchased this tree knowing it’s inner hidden potential.The tree was milled into slabs, slabs were air dried until 15% moisture content and then placed into the kiln to get the desired 6-8% moisture content.The live edge design reveals the organic contours and unique imperfections that tell a tale of the wood's past, while the deep, lustrous tones of the heart wood add an air of sophistication.Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, each knot, grain pattern, and fissure on the tabletop has been thoughtfully preserved, ensuring that no two tables are alike.Supported by sturdy and carefully selected legs, this single slab black walnut dining table strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and contemporary style.
