This hand made wood mallet is 12.5 inches in total length with a 9 inch handle. Made from Walnut and Maple. The head is 3.5x6 inches and 2 inches thick with a 0, 3, or 5 degree bevel. Item pictured is a 5 degree bevel. All edges of the head as well as the grip area have a 45 degree chamfer. The grip area is slightly narrower than the rest of the handle for a more secure and comfortable grip. Some customization is available; if, for instance, you'd like a different bevel on the head from the options listed, or a 1/4" round over on the edges vice the 45 degree chamfer, or something else just ask! Having trouble deciding which bevel? I recommend the 5 degree option as I find it presents flatly to the striking surface when using hand tools at workbench height. Welcome to MCM WoodWorks Company!
