The SWANNANOA VALLEY FINE ARTS LEAGUE’S mission is to inspire artistic growth and excellence through education and exhibition. At THE RED HOUSE, which is nestled in the town of Black Mountain amidst the glorious Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the league offers a welcoming venue for the development of artistic skill, and the support of creative inspiration. THE RED HOUSE is home to life drawing sessions, and art groups, programs & workshops. It also features working studios that are open to the public, and gallery spaces with rotating exhibitions. SVFAL is an energy infused community organization whose artists are proud to be a very visible part of Western North Carolina’s highly celebrated art scene.
