The government has said this month’s national test of the Emergency Alert System was successful, and while no formal reports have been released about how it went there is word of another market where things did not go as planned. The Michigan Association of Broadcasters says most radio stations in the Detroit market did not air the EAS alert. There are also reports of trouble in other places including Tampa and Kansas and West Virginia.
