Many of my workbooks focus on a handful of core colors that allow you to really do great things in color blending, mixing, and color combinations. For example in some of my workbooks you will learn how only 12 or even 24 pencils can do so much! Then I would recommend you can add additional colors to your work slowly to really learn the brand and know your supplies. If you are using one of my workbooks that is for a smaller set and you own the larger or full set of the particular colored pencils you can simply pull the 12 or 24 required for example, or just purchase the small 12 or 24 set of the pencils and using my worksheets is a great way to try them out! Also I have included some expanded pages in my workbooks in case you build your collection of the that particular brand of pencils too, so you can keep going! If you are anything like me you have tons of colored pencils. I own all the brands and all full sets. If you have stopped here you most likely know them! Polychromos, Prismacolor, Lightfast, Luminance, Pablo, Lyra, Coloursoft, Holbien, Procolour, Chromaflow, Goldfaber, AND MORE AND MORE! I love colored pencils for adult coloring and art. The only problem is even after years of owning full sets of the best brands, I still didn't know them well enough to really use them well or to work as good as I wanted my art and coloring pages to look. I tried so many times, but I realized that I needed to learn them in smaller chunks a few pencils at a time to really know them. So I made myself these beautiful workbooks and I began learning how each pencil went down on paper and how each color actually looked, how colors mixed to create new colors and layered together, how they blended to create interesting looks, dimension, shadow, highlights, etc. After many enjoyable hours of working through each of my workbooks and pages with my colored pencils, I can now say that I know my pencils SO much better! I now love how my pencils look on paper, and I love coloring so much more now. I have decided to put my collection of workbooks and pages on my shop.
