These are little maple leaves (perfect if you're a Canadian neighbor to the North)

Flat, cellulose heads are heat resistent and don't melt even with the hottest iron (I've tried) and won't cause a divet in your fabric.

15 pins in a cork-topped test tube and packaged in a pretty paper box. Perfect for gift giving!

Super long and super thin. I've heard these pins described as life changing.

When placed in a row they form a sweet little garden.

Flat, cellulose heads are heat resistant and don't melt even with the hottest iron (I've tried). Because they're flat they won't cause a divot in your fabric.

Take a pair of these jute soles, add a quarter yard or fat quarter of each of two fabrics (we like cotton/linen canvas, cotton canvas or quilting weight cotton), strong thread (we like Sashiko thread), a sharp needle (we like a long, sturdy sashiko needle) and you've got handmade shoes! We even have a class to teach you how to make them. See size chart below

Size 7 9 3/8

Size 8 9 5/8

Size 9 10

Size 10 10 1/4

A beautiful way to do your part to protect the environment in 50 different colors! If you like we can pick the color that best matches your fabric.

We know how much you love natural fibers. We do too! ..but polyester thread is better for many garment sewing applications. It's strongerand holds up to wear and tear better (think of the consequences of a stressed garment seam giving way!). It also stretches, which is especially important when sewing knits, stretch wovens and even natural fibers with a little spandex or give in their structure. We love Gutermann thread, even if it costs a little more. It's cross wound which means it comes off the spool more easily, especially if your spool holder is horizontally mounted (as is the case with most modern machines).

10 spools of 100% Recycled Polyester Sew-all Thread are produced from just one PET beverage bottle, with the same good quality as the Gutermann Sew-all Polyester Thread you know and love.

One bottle may not seem like more than a drop in the bucket, but did you know that each liter bottle uses 250 ml (or one quarter of its volume) of oil to produce, fill, label ship and transport? I learned that from my resident Southwest High School Green Team member.

So fill up your reusable water bottle with tap water, and get sewing.

Wonderfully sharp and smooth Tulip needles made in the Hiroshima region where the tradition of needle making stitches back more than 300 years. These wonderful needles make hand sewing ever so much more satisfying. Perfectly packaged in a cork topped test tube and beautiful paper box tied with a red cord. The perfect gift for all your sewing friends (or for yourself)
