The Metal Color range offers a wide range of shades in order to imitate the metallic finish of aircraft of any type and time. With an exceptional gloss and extraordinary reflectance power, they allow the modeller to carry out all painting processes without the need for enamels and lacquers. It can be applied directly with an airbrush on the model, or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. Metal Color dries very quickly, respecting the smallest detail present in the model, forming a homogeneous and self-leveling film of extraordinary resistance

Metal Color dries very quickly, respecting the smallest detail present in the model, forming a homogeneous and self-leveling film of extraordinary resistance a few hours after its application. Color metal can be dyed directly into the airbrush bowl using colors from the Model Air or Game Air range. It can also be used by brush. The recommended compressor settings for our colors are around 15 - 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. It is advisable, in the case of fuselages and components of airplane models, to apply a Glossy Black Primer to enhance the special characteristics of the aluminum tones. Color metal dries very quickly, but it is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before proceeding with the masking process. For a correct airbrush maintenance we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.  Safety: Metal Color is not flammable, and does not contain solvents
