ments has been used in a specifically designed formula which results in a
series of colors of exceptional resistance and adherence to plastics and metal.
Metal Color can be applied directly on models without the need for the use of a
primer, although in the case of fuselages and components for airplane models
it is recommended to first apply a glossy Black Primer to bring forth the unique
and special quality of the aluminum finish. The range of Metal Color consists
of 19 references, available in 32ml. bottles with a flip top/eyedropper closure
Matt acrylic colors, water-based and especially formulated for airbrushing. The Model Air color range contains the most complete selection of the military colors used in recent history, including the colors of WWI, WWII and up to the present. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts of the existing and previous military references so as to offer the modeler the highest possible historical accuracy. Model Air is used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prime the surface, and then apply Model Air in several layers. The colors dry very rapidly and form a homogenous paint film of extraordinary resistance while preserving even the smallest detail of the model. For airbrushing these colors, the compressor air pressure is recommended at 15 ' 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can of course also be applied with a brush. For correct airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Model Wash is a range of washes created with a unique water-based formula. The product provides the model painter with new techniques for rendering the processes of ageing and exposure to the elements. Colors with a matt finish and of high capillarity, formulated to bring forth the minute details of the panels of the model and the contrasts produced by the wear and accumulated grime caused by operative and weather exposure. The versatility of Model Wash makes the product equally useful for a quick shading as for the creation of caked dust and dirt around the details of the model, such as rivets and panel lines. The washes are also used as a filter, applied in a uniform manner on the model to modify the base color. Model Wash can be applied by brush and airbrush and dries very quickly so that after some 20 minutes the painting or weathering process can be continued. Painting tools are cleaned with water.

Applications: Model Wash Dark Yellow 76.503 is recommended for yellow models and light colors. Also very suitable for all camouflages and natural scenes with vegetation, rivers and lakes.

Surface Primer can be used directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner of Flow Improver. The recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For best maintenance of the airbrush, it is recommended to use the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Premium is a range of acrylic colors specifically designed for airbrushing and for optimum adherence on surfaces such as fiberglass, polyethylene, polycarbonate, metal and Lexan. Premium has been formulated with permanent pigments and a new, extremely resistant hybrid resin of acrylic-polyurethane. The Premium range contains matt and opaque, transparent, metallic, and fluorescent colors, and includes the specific varnishes and auxiliary products of the product line. Premium is especially recommended for painting motorcycle helmets, fuel tanks, surfboards and similar surfaces exposed to hard wear, and resists impacts and cracking as well as direct exposure to heat. The Premium colors resist fuel residue proof (as used in RC) ofup to at least 35% Nitro. It is recommended to apply Premium in successive layers on previously primed surfaces. A few hours after application, the Premium colors will form a homogenous film of extraordinary strength and resistance. The recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI, o 0.5 to 1 kg. For a final, especially resistant protection, a final (2K) urethane varnish is recommended (applied by aerosol or airbrush). Painting tools can be cleaned with water.

Mecha Color, a range of acrylic airbrush colors, has been
designed especially for painting Robots, Gundam, Transformer and action
figures. The innovative formulation of the colors, although water-based, guarantees a
maxi-mum resistance to manipulation, impacts, friction, scratches and overall extreme
wear. Once dry, the color appears the same as the injected plastic color, respecting all
the kit's surface details.
Mecha Color: The colors of the range have been carefully selected to provide the
modeler with the shades most frequently used for painting all kinds of Mecha figures.
The colors can be mixed with one another and diluted with Airbrush Thinner or Flow

Applications: Very dark color, found in earth which is very rich in vegetal substratum, similar to peat, as in wooded and humid areas and in the north of Europe.
Retarder Medium to delay drying time of Model Color, mix a few drops with the color, or dip brush into retarder on the palette. Colors will not change their consistency. Useful for 'wet on wet ½ techniques and reducing skin formation on the palette.
Glaze Medium is a colorless glaze, used to mix with acrylic colors; improves fluidity, increases transparency, and slows drying time. Ideal for shadows, shadings, glazes and working with pigments.
