Now onto perfume oil details MY PINK CARNATION STORY: Long ago, on a hot summer day, I found myself mesmerized by the scent of pink carnations. It was in my very own garden that this discovery was made. I was so captivated by this unique scent that I failed to notice the scorching sun and the awful humidity. I set right to work that afternoon to duplicate this beautiful and elusive aroma. However, I soon discovered that it was NOT an easy task. Weeks and months passed by and my creations were never quite right. There were many, many failed attempts and MANY, MANY tears over these failures. What was wrong? Pink carnations are fresh. They are flowery. They are spicy and they also smell green. I had to figure out a way to roll all of this up into one great scent. I put the project aside for a while and just concentrated on smelling pink carnations. Winter had arrived and I had to purchase cut flowers from a florist. The cut pink carnations just did not smell the same to me. I had to be patient and wait. It was so long until summer again. I had to wait to grow my beautiful pink carnations all over again. A whole year had gone by since I began my pink carnation quest. But, it was worth the wait when I smelled those fabulous pink carnations in my own garden again. I did not try to make this scent. All that I did was breathe in the fragrance of those magnificent flowers. I smelled them again and again and again. And then I just KNEW it. I don't know how I knew it, but I just knew that I could now create this scent. I went into my work shop very confident and very happy that day. I have no idea why. But, I created my Pink Carnation scent that very same day, and I sold my first bottle the day after that. This was many, many years ago, and this glorious scent continues to be a customer favorite and it is near and dear to my heart. I hope that you give it a try.
