Soie d'Alger is the classic universal embroidery thread that is available in 619 colours. It is delivered in 5 meter long dowels and is 7-ply, which means you have 35 running meters of silk embroidery thread.

In addition, all colors are also available in larger containers of 45 meters. With one thread you can embroider in cross-stitch on 16, 14 and even 12 gauge linen.
