Once you've wound your thread on, the lid is pressed down, it covers the thread to protect it. Each satchel contains 6 bobbins and they are able to be stacked on one another. I plan to use these for some silk threads I'd like to give some extra protection to or perhaps I'll use these the next time I take a trip. I'm excited to see how you'll use these!
