Mermaid Pen - Choice between rollerball or fountain - Fairy Dust Acrylic

The Mermaid pen features a mermaid on the pen clip, starfish and seashells docorating the band, and a sand dollar on the top of the cap. This pen was crafted from Fairy Dust acrylic to match the antique pewter fittings. This pen features a screw on cap which can be posted on the end while the pen is in use. The nib is a #5 medium nib. The pen comes with an ink pump and disposable ink cartridge. This pen is well balanced, a perfect size to fit most hands, and is very comfortable to write with. You can also choose this pen in a rollerball. The rollerball takes an international standard 800 series rollerball refill. All of the acrylic used for the bodies of these pens are handmade here at Provincial Mills. We use colors and color combinations that are not available to other pen makers. Every acrylic has its own unique swirl pattern which makes every pen different and one of a kind. NIB INFORMATION: We test all nibs prior to shipping the pen out. You will receive a nib test card in the box with your pen. The nibs that come standard with the pens are made in Taiwan, great quality, and write smoothly. We do carry Bock 180 nibs if you would like to upgrade your pen. If you purchase a Bock nib, we will automatically test the Bock nib and install it on the pen for you. The Bock 180 nib is a standard #5 size, which fits all the pens made by Provincial Mills (unless specifically stated in the pen description). These nibs are high quality and made in Germany. We carry the Bock 180 nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Bold, 1.1 Stub, and 1.5 Calligraphy tips with more to come. To upgrade your nib on the pen, you can find the Bock 180 nibs under the "Ink and Nib" section of our shop. **We make several of these pens at one time. The pen you will receive will be the same color but may have different swirls and patterns in it since every piece of acrylic / wood is unique. The pen pictured is an example of the colors and how the acrylic / wood will look.With every pen purchase you receive a gift box, certificate of authenticity, pen pouch, and our business information. With fountain pen purchases you also get one converter / ink pump, one ink cartridge, and fountain pen instructions. The pens offered by Provincial Mills are handcrafted in the United States (Colorado). We stand behind the craftsmanship of our products 100%. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us within 21 days and return the undamaged product within 30 days and we will refund the purchase price (minus shipping cost). If items have to be repackaged, are missing packaging materials or any other items that were included with the purchase or have been used and need cleaning, there will be a charge subtracted from the refund. Returned items must be in the same condition as they were when shipped (no scratches, wear and tear, broken pieces ect.). Due to the nibs and ink used in fountain pens, the fountain pens must be unused if returned. Due to contamination concerns, bottles of ink must be unopened to be eligible for returns. Acrylic pens are finished with an acrylic polish, most wood pens are finished with a rubbing oil / high speed friction polish, and a few materials are finished with a CA glue. We offer free Ground Advantage shipping through the USPS on certain items. We do ship certain items or offer shipping upgrades for Priority Mail through the USPS. We can also add Signature confirmation to packages. If you would like Signature Confirmation, please let us know and we will add the charge ($2.45) to your order. The USPS offers the following timelines as a guide (not guaranteed) for package delivery within the United States:Ground Advantage: 2-5 dayPriority mail: 1-3 days. We ship items next business day under most circumstances, but there are times when we are unable to ship orders the following day. If there will be a delay in shipment due to our shop being closed or we are away at a show, we will have a message posted on our "Shop Announcement" section of our home page (near the top of the page) on or in our blog on our website. During busy holiday seasons there are times when we are unable to ship next day.Once the package is shipped you will be notified and furnished with a tracking number. We have seldom had any problems with lost packages shipped through the USPS.
